I had so much fun reading what others were saying about talking honestly to God in the last post, I decided to do the same for my previous series on Listen and Love. In my web search I found a couple of sites worth mentioning.
The Word 4You 2Day recently had a four part series on hearing God. In the last post the author cautions about rushing out and telling other people when we hear God’s voice. Wise advice, I think. “Why?” you ask. Word 4You 2Day says:
You need time, maturing and equipping, so that the word you’ve received can take root and be fulfilled in the way God wants.
When you believe God is speaking, take a deep breath. Sit silently a while longer. Allow God to make the message perfectly clear. Take the time to fully understand what this means for your life.
