Recognize God’s Wonder with Thanks
Other Posts in this Series
Thinking about God’s wonder this week first brought me to silence. I was so overwhelmed I had nothing to say. Next, my thoughts turned to fear as a I contemplated the power my God possesses. Yesterday, I continued my journey into God’s wonder with hope. If God has the power to create all land and sea, heavens and earth, then that same God has the power to work marvels in my life and in the lives of people I love. If God can create this earthly world, then God has the power to create a heavenly world that I hope in as well.
Silence, fear, and hope led me to thanks. I found myself today contemplating how God’s wonder compels me to thanks. One of the ways I demonstrate my love to God is to give thanks, to tell God how much I appreciate all that God is and all that God provides. . .

God truly is a God of wonder who deserves my thanks. I am because God is. Without God I have nothing. Thank you, God, that you are.
