Gautemala Kitchen

A Guatemalan woman invited us into her home.  Although the cooking was outside, the rest of her kitchen was in a corner where natural light could illuminate her work.

[Inside this dimly lit home, I had a choice--use a flash or dial down the shutter speed and crank up the ISO.  I went for the latter.  I always prefer natural light over the flash when possible.  The flash would have destroyed the emotion of this photograph.]
