John Deere Stamp

According to Wikipedia (the all-knowing ocean of knowledge), John Deere was an American blacksmith and manufacturer who founded Deere & Company and invented the first commercially successful steel plow in 1837. His name is stamped on machines all over the world. In contrast to the shiny chrome of the motorcycle photo I posted yesterday, this piece of machinery is dull, rusted, and unexciting–but it has lasted the years, plowed many fields, and proudly displaces the name of quality.
