I have lived in six different states and visited many others. Each has its unique landscape and charm. Although I’m partial to mountains and rolling hills, a couple of things I do love about my Oklahoma home are the big skies and expansive landscapes. Here is a shot I took last year in NW Oklahoma on my way to Woodward. The heads are heavy and drooping, ready for harvest.
How beautiful!!. One of the things I loved so much on our recent trip to Austria was fields and fields of sunflowers!! We saw them while traveling by train between Bratislave, Slovakia and Vienna. Such a treat!!!
Okay, just because you got to go to Austria and I have to settle for Oklahoma you don’t have to rub it in. By the way, where are YOUR flower pictures?
I love sunflowers wherever they happen to be!!! No rubbing in here, just chiming in. Yes, I have been very bad. Very few photos posted—one little album on Facebook. Maybe next week,- when I get home FROM THE BEACH!!! ;-)) Now, I’m rubbing it in!!! And I do have great pictures of the sand and surf that I’ve collected this week. Lovely August days here.
